Amethyst Pendant 8
Purple From The Mountains of New Mexico!
When Jake took his yearly trip out west to search for gemstones, he met a gentleman in Arizona who runs a rock shop there who invited him to join him in looking for gems. They drove way back into the mountains of New Mexico to an abandoned gold mine where they found a vein of amethyst. It was hard work to chisel the gemstone out of the solid rock and Jake only got a few pieces, but it was worth it. This amethyst has exceptional color and blends into the white quartz with a lacy look. The setting is sterling silver square wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place topped by a sterling bail.
