Australian Boulder Opal Pendant 30
A Wonderful Piece of Opal!
This is a great piece of Australian Boulder Opal that came from a raw stone that Jake bought at a rock and gem show. Most Boulder Opal is found in thin veins in the host rock, and it’s unusual to get a stone that is a solid piece of opal. This stone is almost all opal, with just a small section of the brown ironstone matrix at the bottom. The stone has incredible color as it turns in the light – the pictures can’t do it justice. The setting is sterling silver with a full silver back and a fancy sterling bezel topped by a three pronged sterling bail.
