Azurite Pendant 3

Description

Here is a gorgeous piece of Azurite that Jake found at an abandoned copper/silver mine in Nevada.  This is one of Jake’s favorite places to visit when he takes his rockhounding trip out west.  There is a ton of color in the tailings there, but it can be tough to find a stone that is worth cutting.  This one turned out great, with veins of beautiful azurite running through the matrix rock.  The color runs all the way through the stone to both sides, so Jake polished each side and the pendant can be worn with either side facing out.  The setting is an intricate copper wire weave.
