Fire Agate Ring 17

A Single Flash of Fire!

This is a really different kind of stone.  Jake likes to search for fire agates in the desert near the Arizona/New Mexico border.  Fire agates are very valuable stones and they aren’t easy to find, but every once in a while, you can spot one.  That’s what happened with this stone – Jake saw the flash of fire in the sunlight and picked up this stone.  It’s very unusual in that its a spot of fire agate contained in a piece of bright white chalcedony.  The setting is sterling silver with a fine silver scalloped bezel surrounded by a twisted square copper wire accent.  The ring stock is heavy sterling half round wire and the ring size is 6.
