Description

When Jake goes out west each year, he searches for fire agates in an area near the border of Arizona and New Mexico.  Its very hard to find a good fire agate, but there are a lot of stones that have great colors and patterns even if they don’t have great fire in them.  This was such a nice stone that Jake wanted to use it even though it doesn’t have that rare fire that is so elusive.  It’s set in a wood chip that Jake sands and stains, then cuts into the wood to fit the stone and coats the wood with a clear varnish.  It’s topped by a copper bail.
