Fire Opal Pendant 6

Description

Jake found this nice piece of fire opal at the Spencer Opal mine in Idaho, one of his favorite spots to visit.  This mine allows the public to dig in the tailings for a fee.  You can find some very nice fire opal at this mine, and this piece is a good example.  It has a streak of colorful fire running across the center of the stone, flanked by the matrix rock on each side.  The setting is sterling silver wire framing the back with curled prongs holding the stone in place.
