Gem Chalcedony Pendant 8
Patterns From The Nevada Desert!
This is a nice piece of Gem Chalcedony that Jake dug up while he was in Nevada. Although chalcedony is a common form of agate, this type of GemChalcedony is very rare and comes from only one spot in Nevada. The claims are privately owned, but the owners allow the public to collect the rare rock for a fee. These claims produce stones in a myriad of colors and patterns, as you can see from this stone. It has white, browns and yellows in a fascinating pattern. The stone is set with square copper wire framing the back and prongs to hold the stone in place.
