Turquoise Pendant Pendant 43

Description

This is an exquisite piece of turquoise that Jake dug up at the Royston Turquoise Mine in Nevada.  The Royston Mine used to allow the public to dig through the mine tailings for a fee, but has now barred the public from any further digs.  But Jake was able to go there a couple of times and has a stockpile of this turquoise from his visits there.  You can see from the other turquoise jewelry that this turquoise is one of Jake’s favorite stones, and it was Royston turquoise that first got Jake interested in making his own jewelry.  Royston turquoise is famous for being some of the finest turquoise to be found anywhere and this piece is a great example.  It has amazing color and a spiderweb pattern that is extremely hard to find.  The setting is sterling silver with a fine silver fancy bezel encircled by a twisted copper square wire accent and topped by a sterling bail.
