Fire Agate Ring 8
Jake found this piece of fire agate while on a trip through Arizona. This piece has a nice streak of color running through it, with bright green, red and yellow. Fire agates are rare and very difficult to cut and polish, as the colors are found at different levels in the stone, so it must be worked with a hand tool to expose all the color. It can take days to properly work a piece of fire agate. This stone is set in sterling silver and has an intertwined ring of copper and sterling silver twisted wire surrounding the bezel. The ring shank is half round wire and the ring size is 6.
