Fire Agate Ring 9

Beautiful Play of Fire!

This stone was found by Jake in the desert near the Arizona/New Mexico border.  There are two public areas there where you can go to look for fire agates, and other stones.  Its not easy to find a good fire agate, but when you do the effort is worth it.  This stone is beautiful with colors of green, yellow and red set off by the brown agate.  It can take days to grind and polish a fire agate as the colors are at different levels in the stone so a hand tool must be used to maximize the exposure of color.  The stone is set in sterling silver with a fancy sterling bezel, surrounded by a twisted square copper wire as an accent.  The ring shank is half round wire that finishes with two triangles, and the ring size is 7.
