Turquoise Pendant 27
This is probably the nicest piece of turquoise that Jake has. It comes from the Royston Turquoise mine in Nevada, and Jake found this stone on one of his trips there. The Royston mine is famous for the fantastic quality of their turquoise, and Jake was very disappointed when the mine owner decided to close the mine to the public. He has a limited amount left over and he will make several pieces a year from his stock until it runs out. But this piece is special for a couple of reasons – first, is the size, which is very large. Large natural pieces of quality untreated turquoise have become very rare. Second, the color of this stone is exceptional. It has a fantastic combination of light blue, dark blue and green mixed with the dark brown of the matrix rock. The setting is sterling silver with a solid silver back, and a fancy sterling bezel. This is a stunning piece!
