Emerald Pendant 1
Deep Green Emerald!
This pendant is made from a stone that Jake found at the Crabtree Mine in North Carolina. The Crabtree Mine was, at one time, owned by Tiffanys, but the drilling in the mine hit a spring, filling it with water. Tiffanys decided that it would cost too much to pump the water out and keep the mine dry, so they closed it down. There is now just a pond where the mineshaft used to be, but the public is allowed to dig in the tailings for a fee. Over the years, Jake has found some nice stones, and the stone in this pendant is a piece of one of them. The beautiful green opal is encased in the matrix of quartz and black tourmaline. It is set in a sterling silver setting, with a solid silver back and a fancy sterling bezel.
