Fire Agate Ring 19

Description

Jake loves fire agate, it’s such an unusual stone.  Jake goes out to Arizona each year to search for fire agate, and they are very difficult to find.  When you do find a stone that looks like it might contain fire agate, most of the time the fire is not visible until you cut the stone open to reveal the color.  That’s one of the reasons why fire agate is so valuable.  It’s considered a “precious” gemstone as a result of its scarcity, its amazing colors and the difficulty involved in exposing the colors in the stone.  As you turn this stone in the light you can see the bubbles of color flashing deep within the stone.  The stone is set in sterling silver with a sterling pronged bezel encircled by a twisted copper square wire accent.  The ring stock is a thick half round sterling wire and the ring size is eight and a half.
