Gem Chalcedony Pendant 11
Purple From The Nevada Desert!
This is a neat looking stone that Jake dug up while in Nevada. It’s Gem Chalcedony, which is a rare form of chalcedony that is found in only one remote location in Nevada. The stone has been recognized as a “gemstone”, and the people that own the claims have been kind enough to allow the public to collect at these claims for a fee. Each claim has different colors in the stones, this particular stone is purple and tan. There is a thin scratch on this stone that Jake couldn’t get out, but it’s such a pretty piece that he didn’t want to discard it, so he’s selling it at a reduced price. The setting is copper square wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place.
