Turquoise Pendant 30
This is a large piece of raw turquoise that was found by Jake at the Royston Turquoise mine in Nevada. This mine used to allow the public to dig in the mine tailings for a fee, but they closed the mine to the public a few years ago. Jake was fortunate to be able to go there twice, and he still has some of the precious turquoise left over from his visits there. Royston Turquoise is famous for the quality of its turquoise and as a result of its scarcity, the price has skyrocketed in recent years. Jake decide to leave this piece raw, he just shaped the stone and made sure there were no sharp edges. Otherwise, it’s exactly the way Jake found it with the veins of blue turquoise running through the brown matrix rock. The stone is set with copper square wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place.
